Thank You, God: A Prayer Of Illumination:

Gracious God,

Today, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude.

Thank You for the gift of life, health, provision, protection, and the grace that carries us from one day to another. Thank You for the rain and the sunshine, for without both our crops would not grow and our tables would not be filled.

Thank You for Liberia, our beloved homeland, and for all Liberians across our political, ideological, religious, and sectional divide. Thank You for the peace we enjoy after fifteen years of war, vivuous atrocities, savigism, and destruction. May we never take this peace for granted. Teach us to disagree without hatred, compete without violence, and always remember that Liberia must come before politics.

Thank You for President Joseph Nyuma Boakai and all who hold positions of public trust. Grant them wisdom, integrity, courage, humility, and strength to serve the Liberian people faithfully and to lead our nation to greater heights of peace, dignity, and prosperity. May every decision made by state institutions and those that preside over them be premised on the national interest.

Thank You for our courts and judges. Give them wisdom, integrity, and an unwavering conscience to administer justice fairly and impartially, without fear or favor. May good conscience be their compass.

Thank You for our doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers on the frontline who save lives and bring comfort to the sick. Strengthen them and bless their sacrifices.

Thank You for our valuable civil servants, whose daily service keeps the institutions of our country functioning. Give them a deep sense patrotism, diligence, honesty, and a true spirit of public service.

Thank You for our military, police, and security forces who protect our territorial integrity and help preserve law and order. Protect those who protect Liberia, and grant them discipline, courage, professionalism, and respect for the dignity of every citizen.

Thank You for our foreign partners, friends, and allies who have stood with Liberia through our darkest days and our better days. May You bless them abundantly for their friendship and support.

And, Lord, thank You for the young people of Liberia, the leaders of tomorrow. Teach them to love their homeland, work hard, remain honest, and lead with character, faith, compassion, courage, and purpose. Make them dignified citizens who will preserve and strengthen the Liberia they inherit.

Finally, Lord, teach us all to remain grateful in times of abundance and faithful in times of difficulty. Give us humble hearts, compassionate spirits, and the wisdom to use whatever blessings You give us for the good of others.

For yesterday, Thank You.

For today, Thank You.

For tomorrow, Thank You.

May Your hand remain upon Liberia.

May Your peace remain among our people.

May Your wisdom guide our leaders.

And may Your grace lead us toward a better tomorrow.

Thank you, God!

Amen And Amen! 🙏
