NIMBA COUNTY — Chief Executive Officer of Jackson F. Doe Memorial Regional Referral Hospital, Dr. Kaizer, on Friday led a humanitarian outreach that provided food and other essential supplies to hundreds of vulnerable residents of Tipata Town and surrounding communities as part of activities marking Liberia’s 179th Independence Day celebration.
The outreach brought together residents from Tipata Town and neighboring villages, with particular attention given to the elderly, young people and other vulnerable members of the community.
According to organizers, approximately 750 bags of rice, cooking oil and other essential items were distributed during the exercise, which was intended to demonstrate solidarity with residents while commemorating the nation’s Independence anniversary.

Speaking during the event, Dr. Kaizer said healthcare leadership should not be confined to hospital wards but should also embrace initiatives that improve the wellbeing of communities beyond medical treatment.
