Monrovia, Liberia – Experienced midfielder Jerome Putu George has joined newly promoted First Division side Golden Dream FC, strengthening the club’s squad ahead of its debut campaign in Liberia’s top-flight football league.
George brings considerable experience to Golden Dream, having represented several clubs in Liberia’s domestic football system, including CeCe United, Blackman Warrior FC, and NPA Anchors.
The midfielder began his youth football career with Arcia FC, where he developed his early footballing abilities before making a move to CeCe United for an undisclosed transfer fee.
His time at CeCe United became an important chapter in his career, as he was part of a team that enjoyed significant success across Liberia’s lower divisions.
George played a key role in CeCe United’s promotion-winning campaigns, contributing goals and assists as the club progressed through the Third Division and Second Division championships.
His performances and consistency at CeCe United earned him recognition as one of the players capable of making an impact in competitive domestic football.
George later joined Blackman Warrior FC, where he continued his winning tradition by helping the club secure the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Second Division championship.
His career was subsequently affected by a series of injuries, which limited his playing opportunities and interrupted his momentum at different stages.
Despite those setbacks, George remained determined to continue his football career and later joined NPA Anchors, competing with the club in the Second Division.
His experience with NPA Anchors provided another opportunity to regain his form and contribute his knowledge and leadership to a competitive squad.
Now, his move to Golden Dream FC represents another important step in his career, with the midfielder set to face the challenge of competing in Liberia’s First Division for the newly promoted side.
Golden Dream will be making its debut in Liberia’s top-flight league, and the club is expected to rely on experienced players like George to help navigate the demands of the competition.
