Fmr. VP Joseph Boakai Consoles Widow, Late Bestman Family -Signs Book Of Condolence; Describes Late Bestman As True Friend & Brother

When the late poet John Donne wrote that death be not proud, for the big and small,rich and poor old and young you take away, and once dead, death is no more, little did he realized that he was involving with an everlasting God declared phenomenon.

In view of the naturally sanctioned decree, his Excellency, Dr. Joseph N. Boakai, Sr. and former Vice President of Liberia, has signed book of condolence, and consoles the Widow and family of the late Hon. John G. Bestman, Former Finance Minister of Liberia.

In his remarks, the Former Vice President remembered Hon. Bestman as true friend and brother. He praised the deceased for his long and dedicated service to his country.

Vice President Boakai recounted pleasant memories of Hon. John Bestman as workmate when the both served as Cabinet Ministers.

Speaking on behalf of the Bestman Family, the Oldest Son of the late Finance Minister, Mr. Nimely Bestman thanked the Former Vice President for his visit which he said was a true mark of friendship and brotherhood to his late father.
