Life is not an easy road. And nothing worthy comes easily. Every good and valuable thing come with a hard price and must be labored for. Life is a telling show of spectacles and conundrum, so brace yourself everyday for the shocks and surprises that may abound.
What so ever you desire in life is worth laboring hard for and earning it honestly, so put your mind and hands to work.
Do not revert to shortcuts in life and never swindle you way to the top. Do things the proper way , no matter how rigorous the process might be. If you want a University degree, go to school, study tough, fiercely compete, and earn your degree diligently and credibly. Do not ever submit to fraudulent means in life, because fraud cannot stand the tough test of time. Soon, you will be exposed and disgraced
No die, no rest …suffice to say life is not free of challenges, difficulties, barriers, setbacks, but yet these circumstances are not insurmountable. With determination, hardwork, and courage or grit, anything is possible in life.
Everyone fight diligently and daringly for what they truly love. If he/she doesn’t fight for it, he/she certainly don’t love it.
The greatest of us are those who have endured and survived blistering and countless trials and tribulations, and yet remain standing with heads up and shoulders high.
The Lord reserves his toughest battles for his strongest soldiers. And before God puts you on a mission, he fortifies you for that mission, to go and win, not to lose.
No matter how strong and smart you are, you can’t win all the fights. You win some and lose some battles. That’s how life is and ought to be. A great warrior is gracious in defeat, no matter how painful and demeaning it is. The pedigree of a great champion is a combination of wins and loses.
No man is Infallible. To err is human. Honesty begins with acknowledging your mistakes and owning up to the responsibilities thereof.
No matter what you do, people will still find fault and criticize you, so forget about people and their vexing criticisms, and do right by your conscience. People are known for emotional sentiments, rendering judgements and making assumptions or conclusions void of facts. But God sees the heart and true intention, not what people say.
Above all else, we are human first, not withstanding our political annd ideological differences, so may we be gracious, tolerant, considerate, compassionate, and merciful in dealing with our fellow human beings.
We all have faults and filts, so be careful how you castigate and treat others when bad times befall them. That you have not been caught in your misdeeds, doesn’t make you a saint or a puritan. Your own time of trouble and reckoning shall come too.
Do on to others as you expect them to do on to you. Vengeance is always brutal, so be mindful how you treat others. Someday, the wheels of fate will turn full cycle. And be careful with whom you offend because some people do not forgive. They revenge in a bitter and bruising manner. You have been forewarned!
When you are on the rise be good to the people you meet on the way up, because when you are coming down you will see the very same people down the stairs. They could embrace and cheer you or berate or shame you depending on how you treated them when you were up there.
Do not envy no one and neither seek anyone downfall. Hatred and envy lead you on the path of self-destruction. And fate has a vile and spiteful way of reminding you of your past deeds. Beware!
Be kind to everyone you meet, for you never know what the future holds. A nobody today can be somebody tomorrow. God can bless anybody. The greatest people who charmed and inspired the world rose from nothingness to greatness.
The world will be a better place if we fairly share the opportunities and possibilities it provides. Greed breeds resentment and subsequent resistance. For a person to have the brazen audacity to have all for himself and deprive others is not only an act of cruelty, it is cognitive dissonance or disorder. You can also call it insanity or lunacy.
How much does a man need to survive, any way ? Naked we come to this earth, naked we shall depart. We can have all the exotic mansions, luxurious cars and other material possessions, we will leave all on this earth when death comes striking and we will go to our grave with nothing. So, what’s the need for all the greedy desires and cravings?
No matter how fierce or tense a debate is, try as much as possible, to be gracious and leave your opponent with his dignity. It reveals the decency and intelligence in you.
You don’t win a political or intellectual debate by being offensive, condescending, bullying, and throwing combustible and inflammatory attack on your opponent. You win by stating the facts in a calm, orderly, respectful, maturity, professional, and convincing manner.
It is a privilege to be elected or appointed to serve your country. That privilege is a charge to uphold and be fully devoted to with a deep sense of patriotism. Do not let your country and people down. Duty Honors Country! You might not be one of those famous officials of government and you really don’t need to be famous. You only need to do your job faithfully and rightfully. People are watching you, so do it right, for the future holds greater promises.
Think deeply before you make promises. Promises are meant to be kept, not failed on. Integrity begins with doing what you say you will do. If you can’t honor your words, no one will honor you.
Beauty and elegance attract a man to a woman, but good qualities keep a man to a woman. Beauty will fade away with time, but good qualities stay forever.
Decisions are followed by consequences. So be mindful of every decision you make in life. That’s why you mustn’t make decisions out of emotions, anger or happiness. Think through it deeply because the consequences will be you and you only to bear.
Do not take what is not yours and do not lay claim to what is not yours. In other words, do not steal from others and do not use your power and influence to rob people of their possessions. Fate will painfully penalize you for that someday.
Preparation is key. It is better to be prepared even if opportunity doesn’t come than be unprepared when it comes. The future is promising for the prepared. Prepare yourself now. And no education is a waste, so never stop learning.
The real accomplishment of life is to maintain your faith, values, and dignity. It is not the acquisition of wealth, fame, and power. These are all vanity which have no place in the Hallowed Heavens.
Some names are like keys, they open doors, while others are like padlocks, they lock doors. Be mindful of the name you create for yourself and your children. Good name is better than silver and gold
In a world so dark, evil, and absurd, do not lose hold of your FAITH, brethern. May your faith be your guild and guard.
In an age wrecked with wickedness and uncertainties, doing good is a Revolutionary Act. May we never stop doing good.
Gratitude is a virture to behold. Always be greatful to God and to those who lend you a helping hand. The spirit of being greatful open doors of more opportunities and possibilities. Never stopped appreciating people who showed you kindness.
Always choose good over gold, faith over fear, optimism over pessimism, truth over hypocrisy, hope over cynicism, love over hate, and peace over war.
