Activist Martin Takes Away The Sorrow Of 82 Year-old Abandoned Cdcean – Refurbished Her Home And Donated Small Business Grant and 6 Bags of Rice

By Julius T. Jaesen, II

Activist Martin K.N. Kollie has renovated the home of a diehard partisan of the CDC, Ma Elizabeth Norneh and donated 6 bags of rice with a small business grant of 20,000LD. The renovation work included plastering both inside and outside of the house, ceiling, widows and painting.

According to activist Martin, out of compassion, patriotism and love for humanity, he was so moved to add value and dignity to the life of Ma Elizebeth Norneh who is notoriously known as ‘CDC Sayquay’. “My pastoral parents taught me to always share my little and identify with those in need, the poor”, Martin says. Speaking to Parrot Online News, rights activist Martin said the small business grant of $LD20,000 will afford Ma Elizabeth to start small business in her yard to generate income for herself. He further stated that the small business will not allow her to go to CDC headquarters everyday do beg party’s officials for survival. “Our people deserve a life beyond begging and poverty”, Martin noted.

Ma Elizabeth Norneh was picked up for creating traffic block on Facebook in 2017 when she knelt down at CDC’s headquarters before the campaign picture of President George Weah and kissed it as a form of idol worship to show her unfading and undying loyalty to her kinsman, George Manneh Weah in the elections. Since Weah debut into politics, the 82 year-old Ma Elizabeth has been one of the staunchest supporters and diehard loyalists of Weah and the CDC who ensured the victory of the CDC in the 2017 presidential election. But sadly ridiculous, she has been abandoned by George Weah and the entire party. Ma Elizabeth Norneh has been reduced to a carpet-beggar by party’s leaders who found no fate in empowering the 82 year-old woman who helped to bring the party to the helm of power. The life of Ma Elizabeth is such a one of destitution, poverty, hopelessness, deprivation and misery.

But in light of her appalling living condition and abandonment by CDC and its leaders, including George Weah, rights activist Martin whose life is a prototype of humility, altruism, humbleness, selflessness, generosity, meekness and gentleness decided to takeaway the tear and misfortune of the 82 year-old Cdcean, Ma Elizabeth Norneh.
